2023

Klara White

Fruity, flowery & mineral. Hints of honey, linden, quince, apricot and pear. Salinity from the sea.

Clear, bright yellow hue. The nose is fresh and mineral-driven, with hints of menthol. The palate opens on fruity notes typical of southern grape varieties: honey, linden blossom, quince, apricot, and pear. Mid-palate, citrusy accents bring a refreshing lift. The structured mouthfeel is elegant, rounded, and dense, with a touch of salinity. On the finish, the wine achieves a fine balance of minerality, volume, and length.

Climate

The 2023 vintage was marked by contrasts in the South of France. Following a winter and early spring defined by drought, May and June brought a mix of sunny days and scattered rainfall. During the summer, the climate remained dry in the western Languedoc, while the eastern regions—such as the Gard and Provence—experienced heat and storms. Despite spring mildew pressure and occasional summer heatwaves, the vintage has lived up to expectations: aromatic, with vibrant acidity.
