2023

Klara Rosé

Light, fruity, elegant, structured and balanced. Pale, rose petal, with a very tangy nose of raspberry and redcurrant.

The robe, a delicate, pale, and brilliant rose petal hue, sets the tone. The highly amyl nose reveals notes of raspberry and redcurrant. On the attack, ripe and fresh fruit aromas define the wine’s character. The palate is vinous and dense, yet retains an airy, mineral lightness. Grapefruit notes emerge, leading to a refined, tangy finish.

Climate

The 2023 vintage in the South of France was marked by contrasts. After a dry winter and early spring, May and June alternated between sunny spells and rainy episodes. Over the summer, the climate remained dry in the western Languedoc, while the eastern zones—such as the Gard and Provence—experienced heat and thunderstorms. Despite mildew pressure in the spring and a few intense heatwaves in summer, the vintage has delivered on its promise: aromatic, with beautifully balanced acidity.
