2023

Klara Rosé

Light, fruity, elegant, structured and balanced. Pale, rose petal, with a very tangy nose of raspberry and redcurrant.

Tasting notes

A pale, delicate and brilliant rose petal colour. Dominated by amylic aromas, the nose displays notes of raspberry and redcurrant. Aromas of fresh and ripe fruit emerge on the palate, which, while vinous and concentrated, retains a slight ethereal, mineral character. Grapefruit notes come to the fore, leading into a refined, tangy finish.

Climate

The 2023 vintage was marked by contrasts in southern France. After drought conditions during winter and early spring, May and June saw alternating spells of rain and sunshine. The summer was dry to the west of Languedoc but hot and stormy towards the east, particularly in the Gard and Provence regions. Despite the threat of mildew in spring and several heatwaves in summer, the vintage lived up to its promises, producing aromatic wines with wonderful acidity.
